Six-Week Political Candidate Training
NasrNow’s Training Programs are designed to equip political candidates with the skills and knowledge needed to run effective and ethical campaigns. The Six-Week Political Candidate Training program covers essential aspects of campaigning, from defining values to media management and coalition building.
Week 1: Defining Your Values
In Week 1, participants focus on defining their values, emphasizing principles like justice, compassion, integrity, and stewardship within their campaign. They integrate these values into their strategy by developing fair and transparent policies to guide their actions and decisions effectively.
Week 2: Compassion
During Week 2, the emphasis is on compassion, with a focus on prioritizing the needs of marginalized communities and fostering inclusivity within the campaign. Participants engage in activities aimed at creating policies that provide support and assistance to the vulnerable, ensuring they are included and cared for in all aspects of the campaign's initiatives.
Week 3: Integrity
Week 3 centers on integrity, emphasizing the importance of upholding high ethical standards to build trust with stakeholders. Participants engage in activities aimed at ensuring ethical conduct throughout all aspects of the campaign's dealings, fostering transparency and accountability in their actions.
Week 4: Community Engagement

Participants are encouraged to involve community members in decision-making processes, fostering inclusivity and ensuring that the campaign reflects the needs and perspectives of the people it serves.
Week 5: Media and PR Management
During Week 5, attention turns to media and PR management, with a focus on enhancing media presence and effectively managing public scrutiny. Participants engage in activities aimed at improving representation in the media, ensuring that their campaign's messaging accurately reflects their values and objectives while effectively managing public perception.
Week 6: Interfaith Coalition Building
During Week 6, participants concentrate on interfaith coalition building, emphasizing collaboration with other faith groups. They engage in activities aimed at facilitating open dialogue with constituents, fostering understanding and cooperation among diverse religious communities to achieve common goals.
